Cashflow Forecasts Made Simple

According to popular belief, necessity is the mother of invention. Which is why I created this web application.

Why this app exists

I like to keep on top of my personal finances and as part of that I have, periodically, created cash flow forecasts - some long-term (years), others short-term (months). This usually involved Excel, either starting from scratch or adjusting a previous workbook. I even created an updatable workbook with some horrendous formulae that I hoped would make life easier. It did, but not easy enough!

This is what prompted this web application. My aim was to create an application that was simple to use, both in its setup but especially its ongoing use. It is largely modelled on my Excel spreadsheet, but without the danger of inadvertently over-writing formulae. It does still require diligence, making sure that inputs are accurate, but once that is done, the hard work can be left to the application.

Cashflow forecasts can literally be created at the push of a button, and then exported to Excel if required.
